A collection of six new plays that Gúna Nua Theatre Company has produced since 1998. Featuring the work of founding members Paul Meade and David Parnell, as well as their collaboration with Gerry Dukes. Including the award-winning Skin Deep and Scenes from a Watercooler, as well as the Off-Broadway hit comedy Trousers, this selection of high-quality plays provides a unique perspective on Ireland from the turn of the century to 2008. From its first play, Four Storeys, through the machinations of a couple of ruthless lawyers in Taste and on to the Joycean Thesis, Gina Nua has explored the tensions that affluence and materialism brought to Ireland throughout this period. This collection, with its characteristic humour and light touch, is the product of a unique collaborative process and an artistic partnership that spanned ten years.
