Garret FitzGerald

Garret FitzGerald was twice elected as Taoiseach of Ireland, and up until his death, was still extremely active, on both the public-speaking circuit as in his capacity as a board member of several major public and private organizations and as chancellor of the National University of Ireland. Dr FitzGerald, who studied economics and law and taught political economy in UCD, was a columnist for the Irish Times and a regular contributor to numerous journals and political magazines.
